Communication Privacy Policy

ROARin’ Speech Therapy L.L.C. aims to protect the personal information (e.g. name, email address, phone number) that is provided by each individual we serve. Methods that are used to collect personal information include our “ROARin’ Contact Form” and referrals given by medical specialists/service providers who obtained written and/or verbal consent given by the patient/client. Our “ROARin’ Contact Form” is used to gather information about preferred methods of contact, contact times, contact days, and patient/client questions and/or concerns. The purpose of collecting our patients’/clients’ personal information is to schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments to provide effective communication between the provider and patient/client, which increases treatment outcomes. If a patient/client acknowledges, agrees, and permits ROARin’ Speech Therapy to exchange personal information with a collaborative third party (e.g. dentists, orthodontists, pediatricians, ABA specialists, school, ENT, etc.), on the practice policies provided before initial treatment, personal information may be exchanged. Each individual has the right to access, update, or delete information given to ROARin’ Speech Therapy by verbal or written request. If a patient/client provides ROARin’ Speech Therapy with a phone number, SMS WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES OR AFFILIATES FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. “SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers for the purpose of SMS will NOT be shared with any third party (without consent) under any circumstances. 

SMS Terms and Conditions

  • Acceptance of Terms: By using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • SMS Consent Communication: The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes

    • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Message Frequency: By opting into SMS, you agree to receive notification. Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per day related to your scheduling and reminders
  • Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carriers pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally
  • Description of Services: We provide speech and feeding services that include but aren’t limited to speech, language, feeding, orofacial myology, AAC evaluation, and treatment.  
  • Opt-In Method: You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from ROARin’ Speech Therapy in the following ways:
    • By submitting an online form
  • Opt-Out Method: You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
  • Additional Options: If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.
  • Donations: We do not currently solicit donations via SMS, however, ROARin’ Speech Therapy may send text messages to inquire about the needs (e.g. Christmas items, food, medical equipment) of the individuals and their families we serve. 
  • Intellectual Property: Content on our website is in the process of trademark. Therefore, do not copyright. 
  • User-Generated Content: By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it across platforms (EHR systems, emails) that ROARin’ Speech Therapy uses to increase outcomes for therapeutic treatment. Please review our privacy policy to understand how we handle your personal information. 
  • Types of personal information collected: Personal information collected include: name, address, email, phone number, health insurance and health information
  • Utilization of this information: The personal information collected will be used for improving client services, personalizing therapy and processing transactions
  • Practices for sharing this information: All information will be shared under HIPAA compliance and will not be shared without patient/client consent
